ABOUT BLAKE
My name is Blake Robert Horsley
I am a multidisciplinary digital artist, graphic designer, self-published author, visual storyteller, and mental health advocate with a passion for creative expression and meaningful design. As a freelance designer, I specialize in creating distinctive visual identities, including logos, business cards, custom-designed résumés, social media advertisements, posters, flyers, brochures, marketing materials, creative advertising, and Wix websites. I hold a degree in Creative Advertising from Humber Polytechnic and graduated with High Honours from Sheridan College’s Social Service Worker program. Beyond my creative pursuits, I work as a Peer Mentor and Support Worker at PAARC (Peel Addiction Assessment and Referral Centre), where I draw on lived experience to support individuals navigating mental health and addiction challenges. I am also the author of A MAN WITH GLASSES and was featured as a guest on the critically acclaimed, award-winning CBC podcast series CAMPUS, in its fourth episode, Going in Circles: A Mental Health Crisis on Campus. Through my art, design, writing, and advocacy, I strive to challenge stigma, inspire connection, and create work that is as meaningful as it is visually compelling.
